Introduction
Loopyton is a professional-grade audio slicer designed for precision loop editing and batch processing. It runs locally in your browser, ensuring zero latency and data privacy.
Single Mode
1. Upload: Drag & drop any audio file (WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3) into the upload zone.
2. Slicing: Use the Threshold slider to auto-detect transients. Adjust Offset to fine-tune start points. Enable Zero X to snap slices to zero-crossings (prevents clicks).
3. Editing:
- Slice Mode (1): Click to add/remove slice markers.
- Stretch Mode (2): Add warp markers (for future time-stretching).
- Loop Mode (3): Select Loop A or B, then click or drag on the waveform to adjust the start/end points. Hold Shift + Click to snap the nearest boundary to your cursor.
4. Navigation: Use Zoom X/Y sliders. Hold Shift + Scroll to zoom. Drag the Mini-Map to scroll.
Batch Mode
Process hundreds of files simultaneously with identical settings.
1. Upload: Drag multiple files into the Batch Upload zone.
2. Settings: Adjust detection algorithms on the sidebar. Changes apply to all files instantly.
3. Loop Sync: Use the "Batch Loop Settings" to apply exact loop points (e.g., from a multi-mic recording) to every file in the batch.
4. Export: Click "Download ZIP" to get a structured archive of all processed files.
MIDI Integration
Requirements: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Opera (Safari is NOT supported).
Setup: Connect your MIDI controller. Click the Refresh icon in the toolbar. Select your device.
Mapping: Keys are mapped chromatically starting at C1 (Note 36). C1 plays Slice 1, C#1 plays Slice 2, etc.
